Happy Birthday Papa!!
This page is dedicated to one of the best people in the whole world, my dad. His birthday is
October 11, the day this page was placed online. I'm so glad he's my dad, and here are a VERY
few of the reasons.
Top 10 Reasons why MY dad is better:
10. He worked for Apple old-timers and blew them off. (even SJ!)
9. He makes cool web pages and logos.
8. He's the BEST storyteller anywhere.
7. He got me my first modem (and second, and third, and...)
6. He introduced me to 2 of the best sports EVER: Rollerblading and SKIING!
5. He loves to spend money on his kids.
4. He loves to have FUN with his kids, whether it's visiting ComDex or going camping.
3. His family comes first.
2. I call him Papa. 'Nuff said.
1. Without him, I'd be a guy with bad grades AND no useful experience/knowledge.
Top 10 favorite memories of my dad:

3. "What's that smell?" "Just pick it up and put it in the bag." (hamster, anyone?)
2. Lifelong love of dogs.

Top 10 favorite things I've done with my dad:
10. Europe or bust!
9. ComDex
8. Car trips to Utah.
7. Intellectual conversations in car trips all over the place.
6. Listening to childhood stories 1000s of times.
5. Cub Scout courts of honor (the world looks great upside down!)
4. Ski trips! (Man, I wish I went on some of those with the family now)
3. Numerous father and son outings (hmm, forest fire anyone?)
2. Numerous camping trips.
1. 1000s of hours of computer related training and questions.
...And the #1, BEST, GREATEST thing I've ever done....
The NeXT Booth at the Disability Conference.
Thanks for everything, Papa! I love you! I can't even imagine my life if you hadn't been around
and been there for me. How would I be right now? Bad grades and NO computer knowledge? Ugh.
Perhaps I wouldn't be as close to the Church, wouldn't be here at BYU, wouldn't have quality friends.
I mean, I would be nothing! (Of course, mom helped a lot too :). Thanks so much for being you.
Love from your son,
Don
