OriginsFinally, there follows the construction of a MacAskill family lineage with connections going back to the 12th century. While some of the links may be considered speculative in detail the main line of descent has to be substantially correct.
Perhaps someone else will wish to engage in further research to further substantiate the structure and confirm the links but, in the meantime, if anyone has any information of any kind that might be added to the foregoing or will help to support or clarify, adjust or contradict its content, please send it to me.
